Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 13, 2026
This policy explains how Begins AI handles personal information across the marketing website, authenticated app, editor, templates, AI generation, collaboration, billing, and support. It should be read together with our Terms of Use.
1. What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Begins AI collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects information when you visit our marketing pages, create an account, use the app, upload content, generate AI assets, collaborate with a team, contact us, or purchase a plan.
If you use Begins AI through a team, workspace, employer, agency, or client organization, team owners and admins may control certain data, permissions, billing, and access settings for that workspace.
2. Information we collect
Account information: name, email address, avatar, sign-in provider, authentication identifiers, team memberships, role, and account preferences.
Profile and workspace information: team names, members, invitations, roles, billing status, plan limits, project metadata, brand settings, and collaboration activity.
Content and project information: prompts, briefs, uploads, images, files, brand assets, templates used, generated outputs, edits, exports, comments, and other materials you create or store in the service.
Payment information: plan, subscription status, invoices, credits, transactions, and limited payment metadata. Full payment card details are generally handled by our payment providers rather than stored directly by Begins AI.
Usage and technical information: device type, browser, IP address, pages viewed, feature usage, log data, error reports, approximate location, cookies, and similar technologies.
Communications: messages you send to support, sales, or the team, including questions, feedback, and contact form submissions.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and operate the service, authenticate users, save projects, deliver AI generation, manage teams, enforce plan limits, process billing, send service notices, provide support, and keep accounts secure.
We use usage, diagnostic, and product interaction data to understand performance, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, improve workflows, and decide which features to build or refine.
We may use contact information to respond to requests, send important account or security messages, and share product updates where permitted by law or your preferences.
4. AI processing
When you use AI features, we may process prompts, uploaded assets, brand context, project metadata, and generated outputs to produce the requested result, maintain generation history, enforce safety rules, troubleshoot issues, and improve product quality.
AI generation may involve third-party AI providers that process data on our behalf or under their own applicable terms. You should avoid uploading sensitive personal data, confidential client data, or regulated data unless you have the required rights and approvals.
Generated output may require human review before commercial, legal, advertising, or public use.
5. How we share information
We share information with service providers that help us run Begins AI, such as hosting, storage, authentication, database, analytics, AI processing, payment, email, security, and customer support providers.
We may share workspace information with team owners, admins, and members according to the roles and permissions configured for the team.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the service, to prevent fraud or abuse, to enforce our Terms of Use, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell private project content as a standalone content library.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, understand site and app performance, improve product flows, and measure marketing activity.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.
7. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain accounts and projects, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, enforce agreements, and operate backups.
If you delete content or close an account, some information may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, audit records, billing records, or other systems where retention is required for operational, security, or legal reasons.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, authentication, role permissions, monitoring, and secure infrastructure practices.
No online service can guarantee perfect security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.
9. International processing
Begins AI and our service providers may process information in countries other than where you live or work. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws in your location.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal information.
You can update some account and team information in the app. For privacy requests that are not available in the app, contact us at sales@begins.ai.
You can unsubscribe from non-essential marketing messages using the instructions in those messages. We may still send transactional or security messages needed to operate the service.
11. Children
Begins AI is not intended for children under 13 or the minimum age required in your location. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy as our product, vendors, laws, or data practices change. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users.
Questions about privacy can be sent to sales@begins.ai.
